Great idea for those with a machine shop. What I do is make a mark with a silver Sharpie once my 100 it zero is established where you have your machined ring. Works fine, been doing it for years even before mechanical zero stops. Mark easily wipes off with alcohol.

I got tired of ugly lots of Bergers switched to SMK and have never looked back. For short range 100 and 200 I don't sort every bullet. I check a lot then just shoot them, or call the maker.
