Chief City Shooters Double IR 3-Gun 08-04-2024 results

One of these days I'll get a modern sporter and there's not sanctioned IR50/50 match anywhere near me. I just want the fun and pride of owning and shooting one

Why should he bother. You've made everyone aware he's made a mistake. It would only confuse people at this point

IR 50 50 vs RBA What's the Difference

Not familiar with RBA rules. So not sure of how RBA differed from IR50 rule-wise. According to my notes on scoring ring sizes the RBA target was smaller overall and therefore a little more difficult.

I also checked IR50 and N50. Doesn't look like much going on in your area as far as RFBR. Maybe you can find a local match at a club near you

    Which barrel tuner.

If I had to buy new it would be a Holeshot hands down. I've never used JNL. So I can't really comment but if it works ok and there's no real design flaw then I'd probably be using it I bought a used rifle earlier this year. It has a older looking (well-used) Harrels on it. I'd like to put a...

    IR 50/50 Sporters

Yeah I was thinking about going with a variable. I've had a Sightron 6X sitting here for several years that I intended to use for CMP Rimfire Sporter. I moved and stopped shooting that discipline. So the scope has been collecting dust. I'll probably try it with the 6X and see how it goes

    IR 50/50 Sporters

@doclu60 Scott, I do love pics and that looks awesome!!! If I thought I'd actually compete regularly in IR50 I'd focus on getting something based on a RBLP RFBR action. If I still lived up by you I'd be going to Pontiac but, as you know, I'm now down near DFW and happy for it. So hopefully I'll...

    IR 50/50 Sporters

Hi Scott, Did the 541 that Voelker did for you have a sporter BR stock on it? As I mentioned previously, I had Brian do my 541X several years ago now. He threaded the barrel and action, rechambered it, and cut the barrel on a tight spot. Ive shot some remarkable scores on the USBR target with...

    IR 50/50 Sporters

Yes Tony we talked about it on the phone a few weeks ago. You sent me pics and it looks great. However, as I mentioned, I'm working on getting another UL gun set up and need some time before I start spending my fun money on another rifle. Sending follow up PM

    RBA vs IR 50 50

Over the years I've recorded scoring ring sizes for various targets as I came across the info on the web. I don't usually record dimensions like this unless I'm confident in the info. However, I no longer recall where I got the data for either target. Below is what I have for IR50 and RBA...

    RBA vs IR 50 50

If I'm not mistaken the scoring rings on the RBA target were a little smaller than the IR50 target. Not sure if there any major differences in how they were scored or how the match procedures and rules differ

10x viii firing pin spring help

I know you already know my story JP but a few people told me the strikes my 10X produced looked like it was whacking the case too hard. So I decided to go ahead and experiment. Rather than go ahead and grind on the current spring I decided to find a few that I mess with. Turns out I learned how...

10x viii firing pin spring help

I wish I would've known this when I contacted you previously for springs for my 10X X3L. The springs I received were for the new Turbo were shorter and way too strong. I don't think we ever discussed dimensions. So I'm not saying you did anything wrong. I just failed to give you all the info you...

Joy-Stick Adjustable Rest Top by Shadetree Engineering

The Cowan rests are the product of a trade school in PA where Joe Cowan is an instructor. Joe has the students machine the parts and build the rests as part of their curriculum. They then sell the rests and use the funds in various ways Several years ago I was fortunate to buy one of Joe's...
