unertl If you can find an old Unertl it will be amazing if you put it beside the others and compare it. They are the best in my opinion.

    Rebarrel model 52C

Have you considered a Martini? I have a couple of Martini's, a Mark 111 and and International that will outshoot any Winchester 52 I ever had and I have had 4. It also shot better than a Anschutz 64 that I used to have. They are pretty good guns and available most of the time.

California bill would ban all lead ammo, target included

lead bullets It has been scientifically proven that lead ammunition will only harm you if you are shot with it. It came out of the ground and if it goes back in the ground that is natural. This is all a hoax perpetrated by the politicians [communists] in California.

    Resizing mystery (to me, anyway)

imperial wax Imperial wax should be sufficient for any standard reloading resizing. If you are FORMING brass lanolin mixed with castor oil works better than anything I have ever used and I form brass for about 15 wildcats.

Could there possibly BE a worse response???

I remember years ago when S&W bowed to Clinton and my attitude toward them changed forever. I have not bought a gun from S&W since. I will remember Dick's sporting goods and I will deal with them the same way from now on. The Constitution says exactly what it means and America will follow it. I...

    6.5x284

Most likely excessive headspace is what caused the problem. Used to have that problem shooting 7/223. You need to load a bullet to touch the lands and force the case into chamber and fire it and that should prevent any more problems.

    40 X Remington 22

    Powder measuring question

The problem I had with my Dillon is operating it on the battery. I got it so I could do away with all the wires and it would constantly need to reset the zero. I ran out of batteries and switched to the electric wire and it hold a zero almost all the time. I don't use it with the battery...

    6br

Well looks like no major problem with the brass. I finally got a load that shoots good and the last group I shot measured .217. So I pretty much have solved the problem. This was not a used rifle and was not sure if it needed to have the necks outside trimmed or not. The group I just shot was...

    I Like Pawn Stars, But..........

The Japanese folded the steel again and again, Damascus barrels they wrapped a piece of steel around a rod side by side and welded it, polished and blued the outside and left small areas that could rust. A totally different process from sword making by the Japanese.
