    Need help....

Wilbur, This thread contains a whole list of folks who repair scopes. This isn't an endorsement as I haven't used any of them. It's just FYI. http://forums.thecmp.org/showthread.php?t=145779 Hawkeye Wizard

Who builds custom benchrest rimfire rifles?

Just go on the PROFESSIONAL SHOOTING LEAGUE WEBSITE. Click on past matches, then click on the equipment lists. You can see detailed listing of all the components used by all competitors. Hawkeye Wizard

    Looking for Advice!

John, If your goal is simply to shoot Rimfire Benchrest, the American Rimfire Association rules will allow you to shoot practically any .22 LR gun, scope, and rest. If your goal is to be able to be competitive, then a semi auto is a very poor choice and a factory bolt action isn't much better...

    Cardboard backing

I've used black coroplast for years for my ARA rimfire matches. I really like it for the reasons that other posters have mentioned. Here's a trick I use. In ARA, it's legal to hang your target horizontally or vertically. (Actually, you can hang it any way you want. 90% of the shooters...

Slick, Lots of places, including Midway and SWFA, show it for sale. Just Google it. BTW, buy SM320, not M320. Hawkeye Wizard

    Fiocchi 320 Super Match

32paperholes, It's been a decade since I shot it in competition. Now that our formal ARA season is over, I need something else to shoot. Maybe I'll get out the 64MPR and some old SM320 and see if it still shoots as good as it used to. Let us know how the current production shoots for you...

    Fiocchi 320 Super Match

When I first started in ARA, all I had was an Anchutz 64MPR. I put a tuner and a plastic forend plate on it. With most ammo, it was just OK. But with SM320, it was actually competitive. I still have good memories about SM 320. It held its own against far more expensive ammo shot out of...

    Need input for range redesign...

If you Google "NRA Range Design", you'll find lots and lots of useful info. Here are links to a few: http://www.energy.gov/sites/prod/files/2013/05/f1/Range_Design_Criteria.pdf http://bancroftfishandgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Range-Guidlines-design.pdf...

    50 yd BR targets

Garandman, Did you notice the copyright mark behind the title on the ARA target you copied? I’m surprised that any printer would copy it for you. Why don’t you just buy official ARA targets from Killough Shooting Sports. The are probably less, expensive than your copies. They would be printed on...

    Testing Ammo

Landy, The problem with posts that are very easy to understand is that they're seldom technically correct. Thank you for making such technically difficult concepts reasonably understandable. SigP224, As Landy noted in his post, "Average To Center" (ATC) is more commonly known as "Mean...

    Umbrella Stand

Some years ago I purchased an umbrella stand from the Classifieds. It had a wooden base, a wooden vertical support, and an adjustable PVC tube to hold the umbrella handle. I've lost the contact info for the maker. Does anyone have one for sale, or have any pics of it, or know the maker? Thanks
