A little stringy. So I feed it harder. 700Rpm's @ .009 per/rev. Chambers nice and leaves a good finish. Did a .223 Rem. Straight as a arrow. Put it be between Bench centers and their was only .001" total run out! Draw back! Took so darn long to get it! Mark

A pre-64 model 70. Super grade. Lovely gun.. Bluing is near perfect. Stock has a couple nicks. Wasn't a thing wrong with it. This gun went to Africa and shot a Elephant. It's on it's second owner ( not me :( ) The guy bought it for a mere $400.00. I shot her twice.

These are ones used back during WWII at the Saginaw steering gear plant, here in Michigan. They are almost perfect, for being used. All the ones, I saw, are made of High Speed steel. Mine are for the .30 cal barrels. Dick has many.... maybe a hundred or more. They are $8.00 to $10.00 a piece...
