    Shut 'er down!!

Charles, I retired at 52, and if I recall when I first took out the insurance it was under $600 per month, since I've gotten older of course the price has risen. I still think it's too high. I go for a physical a year, as does my wife. Neither of us had, or have health issues that some folks...

Hovis, I'm retired and now pay $992.00 per month for BC/BS in NC for my wife and myself, that's without any health problems. that's with a 2500 deductible per person and 80/20 after that.

    Shut 'er down!!

The only way to get proper healthcare for the masses is to put congress, the senate, and all federal employees on the same plan as the rest of us. No subsidies either, they pay the full cost of the insurance. If it's affecting them, then they'll work to fix it. Maybe then they'll address the...

    Shut 'er down!!

I'd rate the Dept of Energy as non-essential, they've done nothing since 1977 when they were set up. Also the dept of education, let the states run that. Do away with the EPA for 4 years and see how it goes. Drop HUD too. Cut all foreign aid by 90%. Use that money for health care for senior...

I'd like to thank Jim Jones and all the folks at Kettlefoot for all the work they did to put on a great IR50/50 Nationals. As a match director, I know that was not an easy task, one day is tough, 3 days in a row is super tough! Ken Camper and I were talking this morning about what a well run...

    Middle ground

I built a barrel block RF gun a couple of years ago. It had a 24" long .900 straight SHilen Octagon barrel. It shot very well, but was tricky to tune, and wouldn't make 10.5 lb class. It shot a few 2350's on PSL targets. I doubt I'd do it again because I saw no advantage.

("I shimmed the lug until I was able to run a dollar bill back to the lug, centered the barrel in the channel and hand tightened that screw. I then inserted the screw in the tang and tightened it; not too tight though. I was then able to run a dollar bill under the action front to back.'")...

    Too old?

Tom, If you can drive yourself to the range and carry your rifle to the line, or get someone to carry it for you, you aren't too old. Since you've shot trap a long time, I'm guessing you're of the competitive nature, as most of the rest of us are. There is a learning curve, especially accepting...
