Sorry to tell you Jim, but, in rimfire benchrest, Hart barrels are about as popular as a flatulent man in an elevator.

Bob, I can see you never had the joy of lot testing ammo only to have your preferred lot be all gone by the time you go to order it. The rimfire ammo selection process/experience will make you appreciate loading your own centerfire ammo more and more.

I like to have the main body of the bag to be pretty hard and the ears to be somewhat softer but they should be firm enough to support and provide guidance to the buttstock. The flat between the ears should actually be flat and not concave, convex or slanted to one side or the other.
