    West Texas Rail Gun

Skip, I'm not a 6BR guy, but I believe you would be better off with a 14 twist barrel and some good 52 grain custom bullets. Looks like your Clausing is a brother of my 6914.

    In My Tool Box

When it warms up I will look for more tools. I have my FIL's Western Auto 1./4' drill motor that has a metal toggle switch to turn it off and on. He never had money to buy nice stuff, but Western Auto loved him. I have his old circular saw and jig saw. I had an old boring bar for auto engines...

    In My Tool Box

I just gave my Son that runs my car shop my Father in Law's Model A tools. The old metal linear compression gauge, king pin reaming tools, a ton of old Sun test equip, my old VW transmission jigs to set the shift forks, and oh jeez, what a bunch of old stuff. I gave away my factory Porsche shop...

Thanks Tim. If the painter ever gets done with the stock I will be on the way.

    Tuners!!!!

I gave up after 6 pages and then the last 2. I haven't seen anything about how far you slide the tuner on the barrel and then where do you start and how far do you twist it each time. Rimfire is new to me and I need a father figure. I have 6 lots of Eley to start. Do I test ammo first, test with...

    Prefit barrels in OZ?

At the present neither NZ or Oz will receive USPS shipping. I have sent a couple things by UPS. I don't know about barrels as it has been a few years since I shipped them out of the country.

    In My Tool Box

My master Snap On tool wagon was the master? and is 55" long. I also have the large top box and a cabinet that hangs off the side. The 9/32 drives were made for the military, why? I don't know. I do have some MoMax in my Kennedy roll around. Is it the same Cleveland that made the twist drills...

    In My Tool Box

I may have mentioned this before, but I have a few 9/32 drive ratchets and sockets in my box and I have a very old Snap On ratchet that is old unchromed steel and pretty rough machined in appearance. I have Plvmb, Bonney, Thorsen, Great Neck, Craftsman,SK, and multiple of other American brands...

Tim, I do know of a couple folks that had Deon change reticles. If anybody would know it would be Turk.

No sir I didn't know what it was at the time, but with Harry Millers name on it and his Kalif address, I had to have it.

    West Texas Rail Gun

Skip, I had 3 of the Remington scopes like yours, but sold them and now have one of three and the prototype of the internal adjusted Remington scope. The external adjusted ones came from Jimmy Stekl and the internal ones came from Mike Walker. The glass in mine are very good.

    In My Tool Box

I tried to post a long thread about how I knew of Harry Miller, Knew his Nephew Eddie Miller, and Eddie's son Jim Miller and it disappeared. PM an email address and I will try that and maybe a couple photos.

    Bolt Lift

Looks great Al. I do it a simpler way after learning it from Charles Huckaba. I cut .100" off the bottom of a sizing die and the drill out the shoulder to allow the case to go beyond the old shoulder. If not and you did it like old Stevie you would be pushing the shoulder back to a dangerous level.

    In My Tool Box

A fellow on another forum posted a photo of a knurled 1.25" round cylinder with a screw in lid on top and bottom. He wandered what it was. I gave him $50 for it. It is marked Harry Miller in California. He was the Miller as in the old Miller Indy cars and the Miller engine that became the...
