    Newby Lathe/tools question

    I bought a lathe down to Detroit, not far from Ohio $1400.00 got me a Rockwell 10". Really good shape. Bought a KDK toolpost later from Dick Trimstar. Works better than the rocker style. They have many Bridgeports their as well! So my point is all of Detroit is on sale. Just call Bridgeman...

    This is Bob Eklund(pics taken at Oscoda) I believe this is one of his scopes covers... The front is easy to see... and Hear is Paul.. I believe you can see the rear cover easly in this pic.

    Sako L461 tenon question

    My opion .01min. to .015"max clearance between the barrel and the bolt. That's really not that much clearance. Myself, I hope I get my buddies Sako done this weekend. it was a .338 Win. mag. Soon to be a .375 H&H. Wearing a Pac-Nor barrel. 3 groove.

    I'm with Al Lots of air!!! NO coolant. The use of coolant only dulls your carbide. Don't worry about heat. I learned all this from a old guy at Danti tool. He let me ruin several end mills first. Then he showed me the light. Mark PS... it's not a perfect science. When you brake something it...

    Your slickest action?

    The gun looks like this A Model 1924, Second Model, or Buffalo Newton, rifle with double set triggers that face each other and a "dogleg" bolt handle. Almost like this one. Except beat. With chunks of wood broke off around the bolt all the way out to the tip of the forearm.

    I looked at a .35 Newton today Not so slick. But an interesting firearm. Little tiny bolt handle. Good for my six year old. Gun was in poor shape. Wood was bad. Some of it had broke off.
