    Lathes

Something I suggest... is he needs to get a job at a Machine Shop. He'd make some money and learn how to use a lathe. Then he could buy one himself. Things mean more when you have to spend your own hard earned money to get it. Plus he can write a percentage of his tools off in taxes. Also, most...

    6PPC/6mmBR

Saw one of those 32's down to Novi gunshow last week. $3200.00 Nice wood, engraved just had the 12ga barrels. I've shot a couple of them( last one had Kolar .410 barrel inserts). No doubt one of their biggest blunders. Mark

    Cut off tooling??

My Southbend 16" I use Carbide inserts(2000 lbs machine is the big bother to the Heavy 10"). I can part almost anything off. What I learned with my Rockwell 10"(825lbs machine) is turning the HSS parting tool up side down and running in reverse. Made all the difference. Feed everything by hand...

Lother Walther stainless barrel. No where near as bad I heard

A little stringy. So I feed it harder. 700Rpm's @ .009 per/rev. Chambers nice and leaves a good finish. Did a .223 Rem. Straight as a arrow. Put it be between Bench centers and their was only .001" total run out! Draw back! Took so darn long to get it! Mark

A .300 WSM reduced to a 7mm Rem SAUM using a Case forming die I made.

One thing nice about this die is it supports the body while setting back the shoulder. Mark

It a 7mm Remington SAUM with a long neck. The die also re-sizes the body.
