That’s funny but true! For me, often it’s the first shot (I always start at the wrong time!) or the fifth when you have a dot down there. That 1 oz trigger is so heavy and seems to have about 1/4” of sear engagement.
Les,
Felt compelled to post since you are a neighbor,,, I’m in Wichita.
I am not a tuner guru, but you will find people using centerfire tuners both in front of, and behind the muzzle.

Dr. Tim, I know nothing about T powder, but some new “T” showed up w some StL shooters a few years ago. Real fast stuff. Some ppl thought it was legit. Maybe that is what you got.
Big congratulations to Hugh. Great shooting all weekend, but his Light 100 was a butt kicking seldom seen in this sport.
This is just another reason to build the wall.

Ron was the first person I called when I thought about trying Benchrest. I'm guessing very few have started this sport with less knowledge than me. I wanted to build a gun on a Savage action to save money. He proceeded to tell me that was fine, but to be remotely competitive, that wouldnt work...
LK,
Gave my congrats direct via the phone. Sounds like everyone had a great time.
Glad to hear Chet looked good and shot good. He’s had tough year.
Is it true,,,, Scharnhorst stayed for all of the matches?!?!
