My opinion, take it for what you paid for it. Among the worst things new(ish) shooters can possibly do is start hanging, clamping, wild crap all over the barrel. Now there are lots of theories about what may or may not work,you can spend a lifetime chasing your butt instead of learning your gun...

Don’t recall exactly but LV was about same tenon, 21”-22” tapered straight to .5”-.6” at muzzle.

Brush, Several of us have been shooting it @Camillus winter league….27.3-27.4. You should be @3400fps+. As Lee said in summer you may need to drop a bit, 27.5 was giving hard bolt lift.

You also cannot ideally tune in a 10km/h wind. One of the single biggest mistakes shooters make is trying to tune in condition as opposed to waiting for condition to get as good as possible at your range.

OK, since this tuner thread has bumped back currently, I have a question. For those with guns tuned with ELEY, what, if any, adjustments made for Lapua ? Seems like some don’t readjust…..many/most seem to.

Buddy brought his brandy new Cadex Defense BMG a couple weeks back for us to shoot after our weekly winter BR match. Big time $ gun. First BMG I ever shot and it was a bit more than a 12 gauge slug gun with the brake they install, not bad at all. He even had some military tracers…..rather...
