    Ir 50/50 (275)

Folks….how about two points to consider. First, in the entirety of score scooting, IBS, NBRSA, prone, palma, high power, ISSF, and probably countless, countless others, both RF and CF the one common fact is 10’s, then X’s and, fundamentally, it is how IR 50/50 was developed and in all of those...

And those two scores have happened exactly…..never.

    Ir 50/50 (275)

Tony wants to fundamentally change the way IR 50/50 is scored just as Bill does. Now Tony’s motivation may be in earnest, WLM’s is to lay claim to personal credit. So much for history, tradition, etc. Kudos Scott, you may be new(ish) but correct. Casey, to his credit, adds a twist to what was...

Wow… been a while since I checked in @ “ Gunsite Acadamy, masonry division” 7 pages and going strong. Hang in there Francis, you’re wearing him down.

    Wind flags!

Tony, exact…no. The propellor options are different using GWS electric RC props instead of the small daisy wheels. Mounting points/pivots are different as well. Mine are holding up but if needed I will reach out to Ray since he took time to get approval rather than just rip off the basic design...

Didn’t make stocks, generally they came from Pippen, Peightal, or Tom Meredith.

He kept talking about it long after moving on to a better method, a classic misdirect.

Well….find some long stuff now that you can check, and run a test to see if that barrel likes longer in general. OAL preference can be very important in MI chambered bbls, others….don’t really have definitive info.

It is a great approach, more time consuming and a fair bit more expensive in sport getting pricier all the time unfortunately.

Not for nothing, I have no particular opinion either way, but may I assume guns in the video are repeaters of what vintage relative to their production…unknown, not the single shot BR versions. Relevent or not, you decide, just saying since this is a BR forum.

Such is life when dealing with the Jerry Miculek of the concrete basement world. Cannot believe it took five pages to get to “get a different pistol”. Without Al would have been 1/2 page, although the comedy value is great and made several PM buddies.

That would appear to be Game, Set, and Match. Nicely done sir.

Great, unless that involves shooting them and autopsies, stick to paper……and concrete.

Not for nothing but why are you “ preaching” anything other than how to pour a basement?

Tony, complete agreement. Somewhat like yourself, I have always had a #1 comp gun and a #2 kind of development platform trying stuff, often barrels. Both with sporters and heavy guns. Over time #2 gets sold, every once in a while moves to #1 and the process begins anew. More expensive, but...

Tony you bring up a very interesting point and…a question. Now you are a very experienced shooter and tend to try things with a discipline and a long term baseline from which valid comparisons can be made. What might your opinion be about new guys, without those advantages that lean toward...

It was a good read, absolutely. I would agree completely a 380 is ill advised when everybody has multiple layers. Another point…. Ammunition, the duality defensive stuff has progressed since 2006 and his good point about issues with HP ammo, most common then, is the very reason most of it now...
