I rigged a photo electric switch above the beam of my old 10-10 powder scale to see how sensitive it was. After this video I weighed a gn of powder and counted the kernels, a calculated resoultion of .02083 grains.

The very first video (on the washing machine) They were getting over done. The dwell time has to be adjusted (change the voltage) for different cases as a .458 win mag takes longer than a .17 rem. Red is way to hot from what I've learned too.

I have a camera from here http://www.boostervision.com/. I use it on my model airplane, it's pretty cheap and works good "line of sight". I haven't tried it at 1000 yards but I know it works at 600.

I remember back in the mid ‘80’s there was a bolt action .22 target rifle that fired electronically and used a 9 volt battery in the stock. I want to say it was made by Beman. Does anyone have any more information on this rifle?
