    Our Lapua test center has always measured spread outside to outside. For me and others it seems anything under 13mm is decent ammo. The one thing I don't know is if this measurement is the actual group size or if it is corrected to .224 bullet size. Our scoring plug is .224 which is larger...

    All of my good lots have had aggregate spreads in the 12mm range. Never had one of those super lots even 10mm or 11mm. I don't know what the vertical component of those lots were but the results on targets were always good.

    REVISED INFO......last year at Fresno outdoors 11 shooters the last place shooter agged 2100 not 1900+.

    I would add that the biggest change in the last 10 years is the scores shot by those who didn't win. The best scores shot by those winning may not have changed much but go look 10 or 15 years ago at the scores shot that were middle of the pack then that would be last today. I remember a match...
