Forum Revival

I have tried to post match results and it always says the file is too big. Zippy had to compress them down and post them for me. I could post the videos that Jack, Jeff, and Harley are making here. It can be seen from any platform, but here the subjects could be discussed among the members.
 
Lets see......First, click on the "Attach files" box. Then choose pic you wish to upload.
When pic is chosen, you should see where it say's open. Click on open. Pic will then
show in small box. When you see it, click on post reply.......

What I'm doing today. Have the big cooker going.....

I can sometimes copy and paste here a photo from my iPad, if it’s to big I email it to myself then copy - paste.
I’m kinda a hillbilly with this stuff but I can usually find a a way…..

Following up on post # 2 above, only 40 folks (including me) posted on the non-humor threads in May. I contacted a member who hasn't logged-in in over four years and said: "I haven't [']seen['] you on Benchrest Central for a while; are you doing OK? His reply was: "Doin fine, thanks. Just don't have much to add to the conversation lately."

I'd like to see the non-humor postings increase; maybe I'll contact some more folks who've left and inquire about their lack of interest. Whaddaya think?
 
I am new here and have never really posted. I am very active over at RFC. As a new shooter, people were responsive and they have lots of info for folks like me. I’ve now met many of the active members there in person at matches. One issue here is that the classifieds are hard to get to from here.
 
you threatened to ban me if i made more suggestions..that you did not like. IMHO you "fixed" some thing that was not broken. get rid of this section and put it all back as it was. the most popular largest thread is no longer that..because it is not where people go....it a shooting site why would anyone go to a non shooting section ??
 
Ya' know.....Another bad aspect of the equation is Face Book. I don't use it or
want to. One of my favorite ranges just went to that format to post schedules
and happenings. I made a dissent as did a few others and was told it is is what
it is. In effect, the younger ruling party pushes out the old guard, then things
wither and die as I see it......Really miss the origins of this site and the loss of
so much data, I understand can not be recovered. is this material truly lost ??

It's slower than snot, but the wayback machine (archive.org) has br.com snapshots back to '98.

The Facebook group certainly has plenty of followers. Over 12K, but there's probably less than 3% on there that actually knows WTF they're looking at or talking about. Trying to come up with a topic that hasn't been whittled down to the splinters in the archive, but I will try to throw one out there 🙂

Before I was kicked off, it was a "look at ME" site. No knowledge.
This was right after Alpha 6PPC brass came out. All these Guru's, using said bras never indicated you needed a special Primer pocket cleaner. I remember sbindy(Steve) told me about it.
