Hi All,
On behalf of Dana Raven (Match Director, 734-748-5394) and the entire Western Wayne County Conservation Association “Precision Shooters” we would like to welcome you to the “Fall Classic” NBRSA Group Match (100 & 200 yard LV/HV) scheduled on September 14-15, 2024. The range will be open for practice on Friday September 13, at 10:00 am and will be closed for flag setting at 5:45 pm. The Match Fee is $100. Similar to our previous matches, there will also be available for purchase a “cook your own steak dinner with all the fixings” on Saturday.

Please send a note or call Dana Raven (dana_raven@yahoo.com or 734-748-5394) if you plan to attend so he can make the proper arrangements for the lunch services.
Other Information:
  • Practice is only available on Friday between 10:00 am – 5:45 pm. The Club does not allow evening practice on Saturday.
  • Start times are Saturday 9:00 am and on Sunday at 10:00 am.
  • Saturday: LV-100 is shot in the morning, and is followed by HV-100 (on the same bench).
  • Upon completion of Saturdays matches, target frames are moved to 200 yards and competitors can reset their flags.
  • Sunday: HV-200 is shot in the morning and is followed by LV-200.
  • A hot lunch will be available for purchase on both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Camping sites with electricity are available (contact Dana for information). Water is available in the club house.

Congratulations Lee! I was so mired in my own misery that I didn't even look to see who won. Quite the performance!
 
This may very well be the last registered benchrest match at WWCCA with Dana Raven’s announcement of his retirement. So I was motivated to win the 2-Gun and present it to him as the Honorary winner and a thank you for 24 years of being the Match Director.

Hopefully someone will step in and become match director and continue this event. I only live a little over 2hrs away, and we shoot here 3 times a year.
